Electrical Contractors Association of Alberta – Sheri McLean Scholarship

The Electrical Contractors Association of Alberta – Sheri McLean Scholarship is named for the ECAA's long-time executive director, Sheri McLean. After an illustrious 32-year career with the ECAA, wherein Sheri supported and facilitated unprecedented growth in the electrical industry in Alberta, she transitioned to retirement in October of 2021.

This scholarship is being established not only to recognize Sheri's contributions to the electrical industry in Alberta, but also to make meaningful strides towards building a more diverse and inclusive electrical industry. The ECAA, through this scholarship, is making a tangible effort to encourage more people to consider and join this exciting trade.

We are pleased to offer these two scholarships (one north, and one south) to deserving students who make the choice to enter into the skilled trades, and specifically the electrical trade.
